(ii) Subscription = US $ 1315 X (A)0.35 where A is the area in million ha above 9.35 million ha
(C) CAPACITY TO PAY
(a) Countries paying less than half of world average of UN Contribution, i.e. less than 0.30 per cent : Normal contribution.

(b) Countries Paying 0.30 per cent or more but less than 0.6 per cent : US $ 500

(c) Countries paying 0.6 per cent (world average) or more but less than 1.5 per cent (ICID countries average) of UN Contribution : US $ 1000

(d) Countries paying 1.5 per cent or more, but less than 2 times the ICID average (3.0 per cent) : US $ 1500

(e) Countries paying more than 3.00 per cent (double the ICID countries average) : US $ 2000
(D) CONCESSION
  
Fifty per cent concession to be given in "Interest of the Country" element to countries paying UN Contribution up to and including 0.03 per cent.
REVISED SUBSCRIPTION
  
For the year 1996 : 10 per cent over and above the subscription for 1995
For the year 1999 : 4.5 per cent over and above above the subscription for 1998
For the year 2008 onwards : An increase of 3% every year
